Diary of a Tensionista

We’re 6 days into the swing of the Olympics, 2 blocks away from The Russian Pavilion (aka Science World), and minutes away from the Olympics Village during our busiest month! We’re as calm as a backstage fashion show coordinator. Ah-hem…

So I was walking by the showroom and how cute! The designers did a toddler dress for our Princess line that looks almost like the adult version in Sweet Chemise! Check this out... this is a sneak peek of our Fall 2010 line!

Funny random info for you - a few of us do everything in five inch stilettos (or wedges) and that would include chasing after the Purolator driver for a missed shipment pickup. Truly we do it with such style that I feel it must be noted.

The best part of being here? Why shopping in our stockroom of course! Imagine rows and rows of clothing that have been untouched by any other body. Next best? Probably peeking at all the cool designs for next season as they are finished. I like to daydream about the dresses I’ll buy and where I will wear them to. Fall 2010 has some very tasteful shine happening…..oooohhh and sequins to trim…yum.

I just caught the designers obsessing about the press of a pleat and the hang of a collar. They can be so dramatic sometimes.
